Camera cell phones are allowing citizens to monitor, record behavior of law enforcement personnel

Cameras on Camera Cell Phone used to be toys for affluent teens and gadget hounds but have now become the standard fare of all cell phone-toting citizens -- and they are now becoming a powerful community tool in the debate about police conduct.

Some Los Angeles political groups are starting to train citizens to use video, camera and Internet sites like youtoube to get their voices and pictures heard like never before.

Kevin Paul, founder of China wholesale Co.,Ltd, said, "We urge everybady to have a camera on them at all times so if anything happens it can be recorded. The concept of patrolling the police is something we are trying to push as a form of direct action."

In fact, video shot on Hiphones or small video recorders from chinese wholesalers captured Los Angeles police using apparently excessive force to restrain suspects -- and all three videos surfaced within the same week. The video images bring up memories for some of the 1991 beating of black motorist Rodney King by four police officers -- which was caught by on home video by an Argentine plumber.

Kevin says, "We have tried civilian review boards, we have tried going to City Hall and going to the police and all we have seen is more brutality … technology makes it all the easier now. There are little digital cameras you can buy for 20 bucks in a drugstore that take good enough photos in daylight. And then there's the Internet and Wifi Cell Phone that gets it out there."

L.A. Police Chief William Bratton has said that he is investigating officer conduct from the three cell phone videos just recently captured, but warned against quick conclusions by saying "I cannot make judgments based solely on videos or portions of videos."

When news of the Blackberry Phone 3G – the second iteration of the sexy, stylish and chic HiPhone – hit the streets on June 9, 2008, the promise of a faster, sleeker and all-out Dual SIM Card Cell Phone also came packed with one bombshell that had everyone’s panties in a bunch: It’d be about half the price of its pricey predecessor.

Yesterday, I find a perfect Multi Function Cell Phones in a professional cell phone online store, I like its appearance design, the multi-function, and the price even furtherly attract my eye. More,NET X5 Quad Band Bluetooth Touch Screen Cell Phone, Gray, one of the models that the store online with china wholesale tag offers has just enough performance level -- a 3" screen, a 2GB TF Card + A Stereo Bluetooth Headset, Wi-Fi enabled, battery lasting as long as ten days, compared to three days of full-size cellphones, while it costs only $92.95. It's only half of the costs of their counterparts from International phone brands.
Hiphones have become increasingly popular, compared with full-size Cell Phones.

Multi-functional and power-efficient models have beaten those of ultra powerful features. More and more people start to use resource-efficient and web-based applications, such as Google Docs and apps on Facebook. Hiphone may not have all the features of full-size cellphones, but they are easier to carry around and powerful enough for surfing the Internet, even GPS. I bought it after I had checked, and waiting for the receiption.

Bratton also emphasized that there is no U.S. government agency that "has more policies, procedures, guidelines and independent oversight with respect to use of force than the LAPD." However, Executive director of the Southern California chapter of the ACLU -- Ramona Ripston -- stated that these latest incidents underline the case for more citizen oversight.
